I was still living in Boston when he first got elected after Martha Coakley completely shit the bed and blew what should have been a slam dunk election. It was absolute political malpractice.

The first time I ever voted was the off-cycle election to send his dumb ass back to New Hampshire and replace him with the inimitable Elizabeth Warren.

I remember when he posed (nearly) nude for COSMO back in 1982. He was a hot college dude. (Rumor was he was rejected by PLAYGIRL's contest so entered the COSMO contest and won).

I had a friend who went to school with his daughter. She played basketball. My friend saw Scott Brown massaging her legs after a game while she listened to music on headphones. Scott Brown said to my friend, who was about 16, “I bet you wish you were in my place, huh?” Assuming my friend was horny for his daughter. Weird story.

I hope Jeanne Shaheen's retirement in 2026 doesn't end up costing the Democrats the NH Senate seat. Shaheen endorsed Chris Pappas earlier today.

He and Palin were quite the close buddies back in the late 2000s when she entered the public eye. It's said he's the one who coached her to remain 'relevant' after the 2008 election. She was quite proud of 'their friendship'.

So fifteen years ago, when she criticized 20 year-old Levi Johnston (Bristol's baby-daddy, remember him?) for doing 'ass shots' in PLAYGIRL, she said it was disgusting that he found it 'necessary to embark on a porn career' (even though there was no frontal nudity). Republicans agreed with her.

Reporters were quick to remind her and the GOP that he was doing nothing different than what her Republican Senator friend Scott Brown did when he was Levi's age ; pose semi nude for a magazine. That shut her and the GOP up quickly.

When he ran (and lost) for re-election in Massachusetts, Brown claimed that as a very, very junior US senator he had “Secret meetings every day with kings and queens and prime ministers” but could not produce any evidence of having done so, making people think he might not be up for the job. His campaign said he misspoke.

Except he’s on video saying it half-a-dozen times campaigning across the state.
