This comes as news to me, but Dr. Cornel West has posted this to his insta.

So, each person was killed 1,190 times? Wow.
[quote]The United States then used atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan on August 6 and 9, respectively, killing about 210,000 people

I used to like Cornel West, and would attend his guest lectures when he was doing his university tours in the 90s. I cannot believe the buffoon he's become over the last 25 years.
The 2000s have not been kind to him, and he deserves to be ignored as he screams and spits into the ethersphere.

250 million?
Not sure where he's getting his numbers from. The entire population of Japan in 1945 was about 71 million.
Population of Hiroshima was about 251,000 people; Nagasaki had 253,000 people
