Why do I get the feeling they may taste like shit or at least not live up to their appearance.
Those pictured dont look very fine. They seem to be inspired by Cedric Grolet, at The Berkeley in London or Airelles in Saint Tropez. They are pastries and viennoiseries with mousse and compote. However, he used to do, at least, frozen ones at Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez and they are fabulously delicious.

Plain old chocolate/white/yellow cake with chocolate icing for me. I like a nice opera cake or lemon tart too. If I can't figure out what it's made out of I'm suspicious. I don't like marzipan either.
