I think he will make like a banana and split. He will only be 32-33 and still have a shot at prime time. He's definitely already created more buzz than NAC and it's only going to explode more. His popularity will only serve to enrage GH Chief Jealousy Officer Sputtering Mo which will make life difficult for RG regardless how much deference and praise he shows the sputtering one.

If he is about to be married, he isn't going anywhere. Just ask Swickard- and Mike Mealor and Connor Floyd and Billy Flynn. All attractive, modestly talented, and certainly employable. But, happy wife makes for happy life.

Rory has only been on screen for a month now. And they threw him into a high profile, front burner storyline.

Yes, he's doing very well so far. Has definitely made a good impression. But we'll just have to see how he fares in the coming months. Lots of potential problems could be on the horizon if Mo or Steve decide he hasn't kissed their rings well enough.

NAC had to luxury of being introduced slowly. Wasn't thrown into a front burner storyline immediately, so he gradually grew on the audience. So comparisons to hm aren't exactly fair.

Egomaniac Mo has been the cause of too many actors having their run on GH cut short for me to care what medical problem stilted Mo may have. I'm also friggin tired of hearing about his "anxiety". He also wanted to turn GH into somewhat of a super soap, with different denizens of Pine Valley and Llanview making appearances, except that wasn't always greenlit either, especially when there wasn't an opening for Todd Manning, because of the previous no-rape policy. Todd has been eligible to come back for awhile now, it's just a budgetary issue, with Roger Howarth being terminated for Steve Burton and Michael Easton for Jonathan Jackson, essentially. There's a rumor that Frank wants characters from Llanview arriving in town for an arc, John McBain for example, except that's up to the network greenlighting the idea. Susan Lucci as Erica Kane has been a desire of Frank's as well.

R62 Ironically, Guza originally wanted Dante to be Brenda's son, Alec's father. Vanessa didn't want Brenda to have any children, for she didn't envision Brenda as a mother; nevertheless, she went along with the story. Maurice, on the other hand, didn't want a Sonny grandchild with Brenda as the mother, for he felt that it tainted the legacy of Brenda & Sonny, so Guza had to change the story, which lead to racecar driver Aleksander being the biological father.

In another instance, when Guza and the other writers came up with the idea of Carly hiring Brook Lynn to seduce Dante as revenge against Dante and Lulu, Laura Wright suggested that Carly seduce Dante herself, which Guza apparently laughed off.

Vanessa was apparently intrigued by the idea of Brenda sleeping with Michael, which Ron alluded to, except that wasn't what Maurice wanted. Some fans, particularly non-fraus, wondered what if they actually had sex and a child, except Maurice wouldn't stand for that. Vanessa didn't get along well with Laura, so that was another issue.

Maurice also wasn't happy with the idea of Avery actually not being Sonny's, for there was the whole possibility of Carly switching the paternity tests, with Morgan being the biological father. Maurice really went ballistic when Ron had Michael at odds with Sonny, to the point that Ron was instructed to change the story.

ADA Turner's Jan Brady hair do is too cutesy.

I find it interesting that everytime Ryan Quan's name is on a script, there are subtle little nods to show history included in the episode. Quan was a bigtime Days fan, but apparently also kept up with GH as he knows the show's history.

On Tuesday's show, when Willow announced she was marrying Drew, Michael said she was merely doing it to get custody of the kids, just like he and Willow had married previously to get keep Nelle from getting custody.

Then when Carly and Michael were talking about Michael keeping Willow away from the kids. Carly mentioned that she'd done exactly the same thing by keeping Michael away from AJ.

Nice that Quan can work that history in there so effortlessly. Bravo.
