This Moorish-revival former grand hotel was built for Easterners who would come to California for the winter for their health.

It’s not even the best green in Pasadena. Meh

My niece and her husband lived there in their 20s. They loved it but noted that it's either for very young couples or very old couples. They were on the top floor (5th?) and said it was a pain to always have to have an elevator operator bring them to their place. The bathrooms are obviously outdated and there's a creepy window in it that opens to pretty much nothing. They were opposite a unit that is officially haunted. When it's up for sale, that has to be disclosed. The lowest level is the creepiest and I wouldn't be surprised if that was haunted. I think the residents are allowed one party per year and my niece's neighbor had one where everyone dressed up like vampires. She didn't attend.
