Kinda bland.
She has a voice that would work well with more bluesy songs and slow R&B ballads, genres better suited to a singer in her mid-sixties than what’s posted at the OP.

Ok - soooo - I had no idea she was 17 when Shame came out.
No wonder she still looks good - she was a baby when she started. I had no idea.
Her nickname used to be Bubbles when she was a kid. They add 'champagne' because Evelyn King sounded too grown up? ???? She was 17 so that added alcohol to her name?
