Film acting has got to be the most fickle and risky field for an actor.

There aren't that many roles - then the script you read and say yes to may be changed or edited to a complete piece of crap - and then YOU get blamed for being in a bad movie.

Plus box office is so hit or miss - you may be in a great dramatic movie, but if no one sees it because it's serious and dramatic, then you still get blamed for lack of box office.

Then there are the not-serious films some studios pressure you to make so you can make another prestige project.

And, even if you do succeed with a string of hits, it only takes 1 film to damage your career - and then there are thousands of others willing to step up and take your place for less pay.

Sounds awful - I would try to get a good TV or streaming series instead. Steady paycheck and less risk.

I thought he has ruined his career with the fake marriage that backfired. It was supposed to give him the family man image but his fans didn't like that his arranged wife was so much younger than him. I didn't mind the age but I constantly read that she is allegedly a lesbian and that he is closeted too. Is Chris the new Rock Hudson?
