Paris Hilton Buys Mark Wahlberg’s Former Mansion for $63 Million

Paris Hilton has purchased Mark Wahlberg’s former mansion after losing her Malibu home during the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year.

The 44-year-old CEO of 11:11 Media is the new owner of a roughly 30,500-square-foot, 12-bedroom Beverly Park property previously owned by the Flight Risk star, 54, for $63 million, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham sold the estate for $55 million in February 2023, making it the priciest home sale in Southern California that year.

Her brother, Barron N. Hilton, of Hilton Hilton, represented her in the purchase.

A sports court made for activities such as basketball and tennis, plus a skate park, five-hole golf course with a driving range and a resort-style pool with waterslides are just some of the amenities that were carefully added to the home when it was built around 2014.

There’s also a wine cellar in the main house, as well as 20 bathrooms, a grand entryway with dual staircases, a two-story library, a movie theater and a gym.

More comfort awaits in the property’s guesthouse.

Hilton — who shares Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum, 2, and London Marilyn Hilton Reum, 1, with her husband Carter Reum — learned of her Malibu home burning down as she watched the news coverage of flames engulfing the Pacific Palisades in early January.

“Heartbroken beyond words.💔 Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience,” she captioned a lengthy Instagram post.

“This home was where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London,” she continued.

The mother of two’s post showed her watching a reporter from Los Angeles news station ABC 7 surveying the damage along the Pacific Coast Highway after the fire started on Jan. 7.

After announcing that her 11:11 Media Impact Team would be assisting others affected by the wildfires, she concluded, “We’re in this together, LA.✨Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight. You never know when everything could change.”

Later that month, the entrepreneur told TMZ that her son also had dreams of being able to help.

“He said he wants to be a fireman,” she told the outlet when asked about his future career plans.

The “heartbroken” businesswoman added, “The families, the children, the animals, it’s just been heartbreaking to see what’s happened to California.”

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE in March ahead of her Absolut partnership for Coachella, Hilton said she plans to rebuild.

“I've grown up in Malibu my whole life and [have] so many memories there and I just want my children to be able to experience that as well,” she said.

The scariest words in real estate puffery: "the European-inspired mansion..."

Grotesque. Like the Wahlbergs and the Hiltons.
