Pack of Lies (1987) TV movie

I was just engrossed by this. Ellen Burstyn as a British housewife who must grapple with the possibility that her best friend next door (Terri Garr) is a KGB spy. Richard Bucket has a small part.

I remember watching this TV movie in high school! For some reason, I misremembered the protagonist as being played by Sada Thompson (of "Family" and later "Indictment: The McMartin Trial" fame)!

It was all a little too melodramatic but it was a good watch as I recall.
