I hate Summers too and I will never understand why one would want to live in Palm Springs.

R2- Ha- Out of curiousity ten minutes ago I looked at the ten day forecast for Palm Springs. The high temperature on Tuesday there is only going to be 101 degrees. One degree less than NYC.

Come to Ireland! Temperatures here are in the low-to-mid 70s, and it's bright and sunny all day long. It doesn't get dark until around 10:45 PM and it's light out by 4:15 AM.

I, too, loathe summer. We had major thunderstorms here in NJ yesterday, and today it is nice and cool outside (low humidity too).
I guess the heat is around the corner.

I love summer and heat. I grew up in Northern Connecticut and from as early as I can remember hated the cold, hated snow.

Unless you work outside I don’t see what the big deal is for a few days.

Poor NYers!
Meanwhile, here in Deplorable Haven, FL, it's just business as usual -- highs in the low 90s and only 53% humidity. Tee hee!
