I think this is kind of an open secret—Matt Belloni referred to Krasinski as an asshole on his industry podcast. Apparently he was a nightmare on Jack Ryan, causing constant staff turnover from season to season.

Could be - it could also be that their daughters are out of school and need it for a trip or something - or are just being kids and driving them up the wall.

We don't know what's fully going on. If they're truly full on assholes, they'd have a revolving door of assistants which they wouldn't like.

People have bad days. I could see John acting like that for some reason - but I'm going to give them the benefit of doubt.

OP I believe you because I’ve met people who’ve had to deal with Krasinski and every single one of them says he’s an asshole. Allegedly he was impossible to deal with on his Jack Ryan show. He was so bad that people were constantly quitting their jobs because he was a nightmare.

I’ve heard that Matt Damon is nice. My boyfriend is a scenic carpenter and he said some dummy violated the unspoken rule not to approach the talent and made a fool of himself gushing and joking with Damon and my bf said he reacted nicely and made the guy comfortable. Said he had real charisma/star quality.

I was just at my local CVS reaching for the last jar of half price Vasoline when I was pushed aside by someone who said they couldn't tell me who their boss was, but they had the initials SJP. They were told if they didn't come back with that jar, not to come back at all.

If somehow this story does get back to Krasinski and he fires her because of it, it's her fault and she deserves it.

A few weeks back, I had to grab some things, so I ran into a Target because it was next door to the store I had finished shopping at. It was nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon. It's a very liberal area. They really shot themselves in the foot when they dropped their DEI.

The rednecks and religious zealots who screamed "boycott" after Pride 2023 won't be shopping at Target. Most of them were Walmart shoppers anyway. But now the liberals have been driven away too.

I’ve had sporadic conversations with strangers before and I’ve had deep conversations with strangers too. It happens sometimes, especially when someone is at their breaking point.

Target doesn’t sell cheap headphones. I mean they do, but they sell all headphones. You can buy a pair of $10 headphones there or a pair of $500 AirPods Max there. Why someone on here is acting like they only sell $5 headphones is strange. Tell me you’ve never stepped into a Target and think it’s exactly like Walmart… op never stated what headphones he bought. And he states the woman bought a Beats Pill, which is $150.

Over a decade ago I was shopping and a woman by me was eagerly looking for patio furniture to place ok the rooftop of her building. I heard her on the phone talking about it and she asked an employee about this. She had a small child with her. The employee wasn’t very helpful. She looked defeated. I knew a place she could get nice patio furniture for good prices and stopped her and offered to tell her and let her know I overheard her, she was very thankful that I even offered to tell her some good places to buy patio furniture. ON HER OWN (without me asking) she began volunteering information and stating she was a single mother and moved into this skyscraper in Brooklyn and how she’s been mistreated by everyone, especially the management. She wanted to believe the best in people but began believing she was being treated horribly was because she’s black and one of the very few black people who lived in that building (if not the only, as she never saw another black person on the elevator etc.). She claimed the building opened the rooftop but management told her some of the other tenants kept complaining about her. She said she could be up there by herself just sitting and she will eventually get an email or phone call claiming the other tenants present complained about her, but what was being complained about was never disclosed. She said the manager (who she said was an Italian American man) asked her to stop going to the rooftop. She still would and he retaliated. She then claimed one of the other tenants told her she should stop sitting on their furniture despite the building providing the seating, none of the tenants owned it. She now wanted to bring her own seat and small table! She also said there are storage lockers or rooms (can’t remember) in the building and after she was down there getting something she stored one of the tenants asked her what she’s doing in passing. She said to mind their business, she pays for that space and later the manager reached out to her claiming someone “feared” she was trying to steal. She seemed defeated.

I told her she should sue! That’s illegal and she should start keeping track of all these things, save the emails, record the phone calls and SUE. She said everyone tells her that and she’s considered but she’s a single parent and Doctor so it was a lot. I wished her the best.

I remember this conversation lingering in my brain days later and I came on here and spoke about it, and guess what? I was immediately called a liar and told the story was “fake”. It wasn’t. And I still randomly wonder what happened to that woman. And remember being labeled a liar by people simply because they don’t have interesting encounters with strangers (probably because they don’t have the personality that would make a stranger feel comfortable sharing with them).

PS, OP, Krasinski is known to be awful. And he’s been filming something in Brooklyn. So I definitely believe you.
