99% of them couldn’t tell you the difference between a Doric, Ionic, or Corinthian column, or even discern Colonial from Federal, but they’re certain we must return to “classical” architecture.

"Woke" is a magic spell word for the GOP (used to be "communism" back in the Red Scare days). All they have to do is insert the word, however weakly, into any article, statement, speech, opinion and the slobbering troglodytes will line up to support whatever faux outrage is being generated. The MAGA proposal is too much of a straitjacket but we need to stop building important public buildings that the regular person finds alienating. No more Boston City Halls or Empire State Plazas.
