Not a drag queen or trans person in sight!

As a real Christian I hate fake ones.

No, it's Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. "Burma" has not existed since 1989.

A media source that gets a basic fact like this wrong is dubious, at best.

Oh, Will those McMartins ever learn?!

Christian situations such as altar boys for church , bible camp, Sunday school, are often settings for indoctrination of exploitation of children, but nobody in Congress or local politics talks about that inconvenient fact.

I could have bought into the possibility that a disgruntled teen called bc he didn’t want to go, but the response “we loved him, we bought him $400 shoes” is horrifying and ironic and totally inconsistent with any version of Christianity I have ever seen. They aren’t handing out $400 sneakers unless, you know, trafficking

Yeah, I came to comment about the sneakers. How very bizarre and messed up. I'm very curious to know more about the parents.

It looks like OP's article got taken down. A sad situation in Iowa. Do you recall when Reagan called for this sort of thing? Private and religious "charities" stepping up to fill the gap when he cut social services? It's worked out so well. I'm not so sure about "good intentions."

[QUOTE]where under-resourced ministries have stepped in to meet the needs usually handled by public systems, according to one longtime researcher.
