But did his head already look like that before the gator attack?
Or did the gator do that?

Maulface thread.

I wish I hadn’t watched that.

Glad I saw r2's post - I was just about to click the link.
Now I won't.

It really wasn't that bad, R3.
Nothing graphic at all.
It just shows a very far away shot of the gator swimming towards the man, in some muddy water. No blood or anything.
And then it shows him on a video call, with his head in stitches, and an obviously caved in skull, due to the gator jaws biting his head.

I don’t know how he can be alert and talking with his head caved in like that..

stay the fuck outta the lakes, keep your dog away from the edge of the lake.

Fixed it for you.

It's crazy to me that someone would swim in an area where there is even a 1% chance of encountering an alligator.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | June 17, 2025 2:30 PM |
Why would anyone swim in a fresh waterway in Florida?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | June 17, 2025 2:50 PM |
R9 Sounds like a gator attack waiting to happen!
by Anonymous | reply 10 | June 17, 2025 3:25 PM |
Are all of Florida's lakes filled with gators?

I read OP's thread title and knew that I could make my day happier by not watching it.

Thank you for this BREAKING NEWS FROM 2 FUCKING YEARS AGO. And yes we had a thread, TWO FUCKING YEARS AGO.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | June 17, 2025 11:36 PM |
I believe they are, r11.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | June 17, 2025 11:47 PM |
I was always told that alligators aren't as aggressive and prone to attacking humans as crocodiles. I guess that's false.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | June 17, 2025 11:50 PM |
So do people swim in any lakes in Florida?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | June 18, 2025 2:07 AM |
I don't know if it's true for all crocodile species, but I know the saltwater crocodiles in Australia and the Nile crocodiles in Africa see humans as prey and will actively stalk them, r15.
The alligators in the US are more wary of people and will often hide from them. Of course they will still attack if you're in their habitat and you look like an easy meal. I'm guessing the guy in the drone video has lived in the South for a long time and felt invincible.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | June 18, 2025 2:19 AM |
You can't even see anything clearly in the drone video

I'll take our bears, cougars, and rattlesnakes out west. Gators seem rather terrifying. There's probably a good reason why they're one of the few prehistoric creatures who still roam the earth.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 18, 2025 2:24 AM |
R13 Thanks for pointing that out. We have quite enough fresh hells to deal with.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 18, 2025 2:29 AM |
r13 You are unwell.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 18, 2025 2:49 AM |
It says the alligator chomped on his head. I'm guessing his head didn't look like that before
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 18, 2025 3:30 AM |
Doesn't Florida now have Burmese pythons? That must add a whole new element into the mix.

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
