This is Marcia with her 3 kids. She has a gay son and 2 daughters who don't conform to stereotypes of what a woman is, which makes them LGBTQ.

Marcia's gay son has tried the fame game using his mother to boost his celebrity, the twin sister has tried acting and the older daughter and her friends were homeschooled in Marcia's house for a year.

Is it possible that the 2 daughters don't feel comfortable as wealthy privileged straight white women so want to opt in to an oppressed class?

It's really a huge trend among the wealthy. I teach at a liberal arts college where there's an exceptionally high number of kids who identify as trans or as non-binary. Don't get me wrong: a number of them genuinely feel they were born in the wrong body in terms of gender. But there are many of them who are just misfits in general and are latching onto the gender dysphoria idea to be cool and make a statement. Even so, they're not harming anyone, and as a group they are much less pugnacious and hysterical than they were eight years ago at the time of the "trans moment." (Many of them will even say you can address them by "any" pronouns.)
