Have you ever known anyone who pursued one? A mortician? A medical examiner? Funeral director? Crime scene photographer? Or even worse, crime scene cleanup? I’ve never known one personally and am interested in the types of people these vocations attract. I suspect most don’t fit the general stereotypes people would assume.
I know a crime scene cleanup business owner. One of two lesbians.

I knew a guy who owns a funeral home. He does funerals on the cheap for people who can’t afford them. Which makes him a really decent person for doing that. I lost touch with him years ago but he’s still in business. Nice guy, unassuming. If you saw him and someone said he’s a mortician/funeral director, it wouldn’t surprise you. He has the look.

I peripherally know a young woman who became a mortician. She knew she wanted to do it since college.
