It was the only one critics and fans actually liked in forever. The characters/comics in this case aren’t popular enough to draw in an audience outside of hardcore fans. Pugh is not a box office draw.

I pay for Disney Plus. I have no intention of paying to see a non star studded movie with average reviews in the cinema when I can watch it a part of my subscription in a few months.

It was the same with Captain America earlier this year. Released in February, on Disney Plus in June.

I won't bother with Pedro Pascal, Princess Margaret and The Fantastic Closet either.

Captain America BNW sucked. I wanted to see Thunderbolts in theater but Sinners took priority and now that I have time, it’s hardly playing anywhere. Will def see FF and Superman in theater as they’re coming in the dead of summer so a little more free time than May.

Why do theaters determine if a film is a flop? THEATERS are flops. I’ll watch the film when it streams on Disney+ (my favorite streaming channel because of MCU and StarWars). I’m a big fan of both universes, but don’t often go to theaters to see the new releases.
