Doja Cat Accuses Feminine Gay Man of Predatory Sexual Behavior
When a fan met Doja Cat, she commented she liked his shirt so he took it off and gave it to her and have her a hug.
After this video, which was well received by fans, she posted a follow up of “I threw that musty ass shirt away” and then stated via Twitter:
“bottom line is i'll smile at you but it doesn't mean I fuck w you and don't touch me and man handle me when you don't even fuckin know me. iykyk. i honestly think I need to stand up for myself in the moment sometimes. and he didn't even know my fuckin name to be touching me and kissing me on my face like that is crazy”

The guy in the video responded citing he was upset at the idea that he made Doja uncomfortable and didn’t pick up on her feelings of him basically sexually harassing and assaulting her.

The whole time he’s doing all of that he’s talking to the camera not her. It’s clearly all for and about him in the moment. I can see where she was uncomfortable.

In some realms of the entertainment world, they prepare up-and-coming "stars" with some basic facts about fans and how to deal with them. It should be the responsibility of all gatekeepers to perform this duty with their talent because most of the new, young talent coming up today are not prepared for fan interaction and do something incredibly stupid such as this example shows.
She was not assaulted. This is not a normal interpersonal interaction. She met an exuberant fan and encouraged his behavior. She needs to learn from her mistake and take precautions in the future. It's pretty simple, Ms. Cat (as [italic]the New York Times[/italic] Style Guide would have us call her): if you don't want to have fan interactions, don't interact with the fans.
