Tasteful Friends: let’s go to a Victorian in Brooklyn
Love this big house but it’s just too white on the inside. I’d love to see some color or, as befits a Victorian, some wallpaper - preferably William Morris. Or was he Edwardian?
3 million. I would. This house was also featured in the “Back Home Ballers” video on SNL.
Sorry for the Post link but it’s a good story.

Kudos for them for their years of loving restoration. Now they can have a pay day and retire in great comfort.

It's beautiful. But I would have issues about paying 3 million for a wooden house in the city.
No I can't afford it. Not even half. Maybe half but too old to carry a mortgage.
I need something more solid in the city. Brick. Stone.
I have a little wooden house in the woods next to a lake.
A HUGE wooden house in the woods next to a lake for 3 million feels good. But no wood in the city. Fire hazard.

Not a Victorian period house because it was built in 1905 (or 1910 as the many listings suggest.).
It's a nice enough if rather generic house with Arts & Crafts Movement form and style and detailing. There are hundreds of thousands of American houses of this period, plan, and decorative detailing. It's a respectable example, but nothing exceptional.

It’s in the same general area where the real version of Fry’s parent’s home was located in “Futurama” as well as the house in “Sophie’s Choice”. Some beautiful homes there.
