Here's a take: better to date on par with your looks level or even slightly lower, for women seeking men. Why? Usually - men age better; someone slightly less attractive than you should be happy you chose them and treat you well, hopefully not cheat on you; someone is your looks level or even more attractive is a target and people will ask "Why is he with her?" Also if the man is funny, smart, accomplished, and/or financially independent all those things add up to better catch. Cute guy that never has been independent, living with parents still at 30? No.

Ugly guys try harder, suggesting the probability of them being skilled cunnilinguists.
