I'm the oldest grandkid on both sides of my family: on my Dad's side, my grandfather was 57 and my grandmother was 48 when I was born and on my Mom's side, my grandfather was 59 and my grandmother was 48.

Mine was 36

grandmother was 46, I believe grandfather was 48 or 49?

My grandmothers were about 49 & 51. My grandfathers were about 57 & 58.

I’ve been thinking about my grandfather - & namesake - a lot recently. It dawned on me that I will very shortly be the age this man, who died 8 months before I was born, was when he died.
