I asking knowing that proper ice cream is churned and frozen custard but I assume there is a difference.

I've always thought that frozen custard does not have as much air mixed into it.

I never buy ice cream. Yesterday I bought some emergency vanilla for this weekend in case ‘’No Kings’’ goes very bad or ‘’Trump’s little penis military parade’’ goes very good.

Frozen custard is richer and more dense with less air. I prefer it as the flavor and textures are more palatable to me. I just don’t prefer the calories…

I just had an ice cream sandwich. I usually never keep ice cream in the house but it was an impulse buy. It was a box of 4. I am going to bed before I have another.

Dairy allergies. The other day I bought a pint of coconut milk based ice cream, Kate's Marrionberry and Cobbler, which was excellent - but cost $16. $16 dollars for a pint of ice cream! Plus I ate it in one setting and the scale went up 2 pounds the next morning

American ice cream is far superior to gelato.

More butterfat = more flavor.

Just because it’s from a more exotic country does not mean it’s better.

Surprisingly, the Van Leeuwen Kraft Mac & Cheese ice cream was quite good, as was their sweet potato marshmallow ice cream.

For fat whores wanting something a bit more wholesome, try frozen banana slices in the food processor. It comes out like ice cream. I like to add cocoa powder to it. Peanuts or peanut butter goes well in it too.

Does it taste like banana ice cream?

Summer 2025 was the summer of ice cream for me. My local grocery kept having sales on my favorite brands so I let myself eat way more of it than I usually allow myself.

Yes, according to my research, a "Coke spider" (basically, a Coke float) is Australian.

Cola and ice cream tastes a little flat to me. Root beer, ginger ale or orange soda are a better pairing with vanilla ice cream.

Frozen custard is really good in its own way. It’s nothing like Darry Queen or other typical soft serve.
