If men and white men are oppressed victims, then I guess they now know what it feels like for women and minorities. If that's the case, everybody is an oppressed victim so then why can't we all just get along?
Why can't we all get along?

"Men and white men?" Are white men not men?

Because we're not wired to get along. Since the dawn of time, whenever there's been human contact, there's been conflict. Most people don't even get along with their own family, and you want them to get along with strangers who compete with them for money and romantic partners?
And we're not some exception in this, just look at those Japanese macaques. We mostly just see photos of them being all zen and chill. Well, guess what, bitch? Not the case! There's a strict hierarchy to who can soak in there and for how long, and you get your ass beat for not adhering to it. There's usually some element of oppression present when you have a complex social group going on, is my point.

If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you poison us, do we not die?

Here is the issue. With some progress, White straight men were slowly being treated like the people they opressed. They were no longer first in line, no longer free to call us slurs, and started looking around and saw that it was not a representation of a white straight world. They didn't like it. Enter in Trump who was running on the pretense that it can be a white straight world again if you just give him power. They did and here we are.
