Did you know anyone who liked Chunky?
What was/is your favorite candy bar?

Never heard of Chunky. Here's an old thread with some choices.

Do Malteasers count?
If not, a Nestle Crunch Bar.

Milky Way still appeals. Also a Baby Ruth. Almond Joy.
I remember Reggie bars when I was a kid - named after Reggie Jackson, I think.
There are very few that I don't like at all. Except large Butterfingers - I can eat a small one, but the texture and it's messy, is a pass.

Three Musketeers

I like crispy rice with American “chocolate” bars - Watchamacallit and Nestle Crunch do the trick. They cut the vomit aftertaste of milk chocolate.

Milky Way and Snickers

I used to love Krackle and Crunch Bars, but they don't taste right now. I'm not sure what happened to them.
I haven't had a 5th Avenue in years.

A Cadbury Crunchie, ideally after it's been in the fridge for a while.

Dubai, of course

Crunch bars were always my favorite. Or Three Musketeers. During my fat kid years, I liked to get those giant Symphony bars with almonds that were about the size of a dinner plate.
I never could stand Snickers. There's just too much going on.

Chunky is lovely. I also like Whatchamacallit and Heath bars.
Ritter Sport with hazelnut is also nice. As are Ghirardelli dark chocolate squares.

I can't decide if the recipes have changed or my taste buds have changed when I got older. I taste a Three Musketeer Bar now and I want to spit it out. Also, I swear that Snickers used to be bigger.

Snickers, half-frozen

R15. Heath Bars are great. Skor is even better, but hard to find.

Never liked candy bars very much, they taste very articifical. The one I could tolerate most is the Skor bar. And the Snickers Ice Cream bar, but I guess that would coubnt more as ice cream

Three Musketeers and Milky Way are made with coconut oil now and are .... ruined.

My mom used to keep a Chunky bar with raisins in the fridge and whittle herself off a little bite every day. None of us kids went near it.

What was it before?

My favorite cheapy is Cadbury Dairy Milk, as long as they aren't made by Hershey--it takes some looking, but esp. near Canada you can find them. Also good are the various chocolate covered things that Russel Stover sells during the holiday--the marshmallow Santas and the like, although they keep raising the prices..
