Cynthia Erivo — I Forgive You

The album was released on the 6th, has anyone else given it a listen to? I’m really enjoying it.

The poster incident last year was the act of a vile narcissist high on their own sour fumes. The lack of an apology was even more damning.

So, no. I don’t forgive her.

the overdubbing is atrocious. is someone humming under her voice? subtle backup? creeps me out.

She was on the Today show and fucked up the Annie Lennox classic "Why."

What would happen if a lighting bolt hit one of the 50 rings in her nose? Would she develop a personality, like “Regarding Henry?”

I can't get past the talon claws.

by Anonymousreply 8June 8, 2025 12:31 AM

Nobody asked for this.

Since that 'poster incident' the movie slayed the box office and she was nominated for an Oscar. She did explain why she was offended and admitted she overreacted. Showbiz folks are as egotistical as Dataloungers are petty.

She's ridiculously full of herself, and I have no idea whether she'll be able to sustain her career given how mercurial and outspoken and unstable she is. But she is certainly talented, I have to give her that.

Who gives a shit? She’s still a nasty cunt.

When do Cyn and Ari start their public scissoring for Oscars?

I don't forgive her and never will. Never can. Just won't.

She certainly did. We made sure of that.

I generally am neutral to mildly like on Cynthia - I enjoyed her PBS concert a while back.

But that arrangement of WHY was not good.

by Anonymousreply 16June 8, 2025 1:48 AM

Based on a year of her pap strolls, one gingerly opines that Cynthia is talented but suffers from a dreadful lack of taste.
