Who was your favorite character on "Little House on The Prairie"?
Not in the books; on the TV show. You know you watched it, unless you're young.
Don't even pretend your favorite character was Ma, Carrie, Mr. Olesen, Rev. Alden, Hester Sue, Percival, Miss Beadle, or Eliza Jane. They all had their fine points (well, except Carrie), but they were not the reason for anyone to keep coming back to watch the show week after week.

I wish somebody would start a Little House on the Prairie rewatch podcast. I feel like every other show has one

Mary was my favorite because IMO, Melissa Sue Anderson was the best of the child actors on that show and became even better when she became an adult. She was also the only actor from the show to receive an Emmy nomination for acting.

I notice at this point you've received absolutely no votes yourself, Mrs. Busfield.
And yet you were nominally the lead. What could that possibly mean?

I’ve watched several episodes in streaming as an adult and am disappointed that Gilbert just really isn’t that good when playing Laura as an adult. As a child she could get away limited acting skills but not as a grownup.

Nellie and Harriet were too evil for me! Thankfully they get their comeuppance once in a while and Mr. Oleson understands they're both cunts.

R2 it’s not a rewatch podcast but Alison Arngrim and Dean Butler started a podcast last year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Little House. It’s still going strong.
As to be expected Alison is a hoot.
You can find it on YouTube.
