It's hard to describe, frankly. For ease, I just tell my straight friends, "ok, on that site I read that's like a niche gay Reddit, I read that _____ is secretly fucking _____ and the wife has no clue."

I’m a frau. I found this site a few years ago when I was googling for golden age Hollywood gossip. A thread about Bette Davis came up first and here I am!

I freaking love this site! I usually stick to the gossip and politics threads, and stuff like this. I don’t intrude into threads that are clearly not meant for me.

Anyway, one day I casually asked my son, a gay man if he’d ever heard of Datalounge. He slowly said yes, rolled his eyes and said what the hell are you doing on Datalounge?

I very proudly told him I’m a Datalounge Frau!

So yes, I’ve been known to tell people I hang out at the Datalounge.
