After 3.5 months of Trump's tariff foolishness, I'm my portfolio balance is basically the same as where it stood on February 20.
But Trump's a BUSINESSMAN! Republicans are GOOD FOR THE ECONOMY!! Blah, blah, blah . . .

Mine has rebounded to where it was in February.

Mine too, now I can afford to rent an overpriced hovel for two years after 68 instead of one! Go Trump!

I just noticed this the other day as well, OP. What a long, strange journey it's been (for my 403b).

I'm that part of Generation X that has no retirement. I'll be living off the government one day. And I'm ready to be content with that. Thanks guys for all your hard work. The best things in life are free.

Mine dropped by $30,000. It has now surpassed by a few thousand where it was before the drop. I kept buying regularly through it.

In January I had moved half of my 401k portfolio from the stock market to fixed annuity to mitigate whatever destruction Trump will cause to the economy while in office. What was remaining dropped 15% . It is now back up to just 5% down. I'm going to cut my losses now and move the remaining to short term IRA CDs.

The stock market may have rebounded somewhat, but with Trump and the stupid, ridiculous tariffs, we are always playing catch-up. We are going backward. We shouldn't always be saying, "Oh, my investments are back to where they were in February." We should be building on what we had in February, not trying to catch up all the time.
And yes, of course, the market is always going to experience setbacks. It doesn't always go up. But Trump and these tariffs are just plain dumb and unnecessary Trump-inflicted wounds. The orange criminal in the White House, who belongs in prison, is an idiot and does not know how to run a government or the economy.
