Too bad it will take like two hours to get there using the LA Transit System.
For the first time in history, the people of Los Angeles know the thrill of taking the train to the airport

Traveling from downtown LA to LAX by car could also take 2 hours, if the traffic gods are not on your side.

Right, r3. For America's second biggest city, they're really unambitious when it comes to public transit.

It STILL doesn't take you to the airport. You will have to take a shuttle bus for the final few miles until the PeopleMover opens ((hopefully) next year.

Our lack of public transit would is a huge embarrassment for Los Angeles. LAX is the worst airport to get to in the US.

R1. No, there’s no train to LGA and, as far as I know, there are no plans for one. I’m fortunate in that, living where I do, I can take a bus for $1.45 (senior rate). Takes 45mins to 1 hr 15, depending on traffic.

Is this the city's answer to the shitshow we'll see in traffic come Olympics 2028?
