Well, at least he's getting due process. I'm thinking we may have put our eggs in the wrong basket on this one, but let them present the evidence they have for deporting him (along with all of the others who were deported).

Those calling for Garcia to be returned to the U.S. weren't doing so because they think he's innocent; they're doing so because even the Trump administration admitted he was wrongly deported. And in all the hearings about Garcia, the Democrats have been clear to say the point is not whether he's innocent or guilty, but that the Trump administration fucked up, the Supreme Court said they fucked up, the Supreme Court ordered Garcia returned, and the Trump administration was violating the law by not facilitating his return. They hemmed and hawed and were defiant about not returning him, with even dog killer Kristi Noem testifying in a congressional hearing that Garcia was "not coming back."

Well, he's back. So I do disagree with R13 saying the Democrats may have put their eggs in the wrong basket. It's clear they put their eggs in the right basket, then lobbed them right into the faces of the Republicans and the DOJ.

It's likely Bondi and her thugs will lie, cheat, and steal to get Garcia convicted, but at least in this battle, the Republicans are the ones with egg on their faces.

I find it hilarious that the DOJ is now accusing Garcia of human trafficking. Funny they never mentioned that when they mistakenly deported him. The only lied about him being a member of MS13. They had to scramble to find a reason to put him on trial in the U.S.
