This character was a hero for, what, 8 years? And what horrible crime did he commit to cause everyone to turn on him. He fucked his nephew's wife? He fucking went to prison for Carly. Even for GH, this character change is way too implausible.

They're blowing this affair with Willow way out of proportion for the sake of creating drama.

Alan had many affairs while married to Monica.

Monica had affairs while married to Alan.

Alan even tried to kill Monica and her lover. while they were having a tryst.

Alan kept his mistress in the gatehouse on the estate while married to Monica.

But everything Drew is doing is apparently far worse than that.

Personally, I think they use Jane perfectly. What she said about Michael on the stand sums up everything about the character; it's about family now, at this stage in her life. She's trying to protect a legacy, good, bad, or otherwise. It's her family. She's embraced Jason. She spars with Drew, but I think, deep down, she enjoys it.

Agree, Jane can't quite be the Sleestak of GH. For one thing, she's pushing 80.

She's great being what she is now - the connection to the roots of Port Charles, and a truthteller.

She had a handful of lines in her scene with Gio but boy, does she know how to pack a punch with a little.

I’m thinking SBu went over his head or finally convinced Frank to hire her back. I personally never understood the Westbourne/Obrecht hype.

Rumor: There's a possible Lucky recast in the cards; Lucky was going to be featured pretty prominently in upcoming storylines, but Jonathan's plans to opt out, which apparently included requesting a temporary earlier out, before the year was up- for music opportunities, his own, as well as with the cast of Nashville, etc., weren't agreed upon so he was shown the door. A reboot of Nashville is possibly in the works.

I know a lot of us would be fine with GV, but if he wasn't cast, who would work as Lucky?

The Jeff Branson as Lucky idea wasn't a bad one.

He could play the part, but doesn't seem to have done much acting since 2018. Just as handful of parts. Of course, the same was true of Alexa Havens up until she woke up as Lulu.

Luckys most interesting story is if he’s off screen.

And maybe a new Nikolas and/or Spencer.

It is more likely they will recast Laura's other son.

I doubt Scott Clifton will leave B&B where he's a lead actor to be 3rd or 4th leading male on GH?

R57 Reboot is being shopped, didn't say that it was picked up. Jonathan barely wanted to return to GH, so doubt he's interested in another soap. He didn't even want to fulfill time on this one. He didn't want any dramatic storylines, he preferred working with Steve and an action adventure story but that still probably wouldn't have been enough for him.

R62 Seems to be up in the air. At first things looked bleak for Liam, now there's some wondering if its a repeat of that story with Eric.

I think they should leave Spencer "dead." Nikolas should be recast, but they have to find the perfect actor. The last two guys were all wrong for the part.

Hopefully KT keeps pleading with Frank that she was dickmotized and still regrets leaving the show. GH could really use some Britt and Dr. O now.

Maybe now that LW is distracted and liking her current pairing, SB made the case to give Jason/Britt another chance? And a Dr. O/Sidwell pairing could catch fire.

To me Marcus coloma belongs in the hall of fame of terrible recasts.

R69 Supposedly, Steve was able to have Kelly T. rehired, since Sasha is apparently going back to Michael. Steve wasn't exactly happy with the Jason/Sasha planned romance, which would've happened if Frank didn't recast Michael when he did. Chad apparently informed Frank that he needed at least the rest of the year off; Frank then decided to expedite the recast.

As much as LW likes to reference Jason and Carly, that's not what Steve wants. He didn't want Jason/Carly when LW and Korte came up with that mob story; back then, he was happy with the Jason/Britt romance. LW became jealous of all the attention they were getting and conjured up that Carly mob boss/marrying Jason tale. He went along with it but he doesn't like Jason and Carly, at least not LW's version, as a romantic couple. LW and Korte still want that, but Frank as well as the network apparently don't. LW was also unhappy with the negative feedback fans gave that mob marriage, blaming Sonny/Carly fans for not accepting Jason with Carly.

Johnny Z and Nelle should return. This show needs a jolt. Todays episode was pretty boring. Cody and Kristina have zilch chemistry.
