by Anonymous | reply 145 | June 8, 2025 4:56 AM |
Perhaps this is a naive question in light of the profound stupidity of the American electorate, but just how many potential sales of Teslas to Democrats do you think were hinging on the staged fight?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | June 5, 2025 6:12 PM |
I don’t think it is staged.
Elon = DOGE and he got kicked to the curb by Trump on top of becoming so publicly hated. That can’t feel good.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | June 5, 2025 6:14 PM |
Elon is pissed he's not benefiting from the BBB, since anti-Climate Change forces drafting it have gutted subsidies for EVs.
So, it's real, for the time being, at least.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | June 5, 2025 6:22 PM |
Elon is pretty much admitting to election interference... doesn't seem wise. And a catfight with Dump isn't going to undo any of the damage to the brand he brought on himself with the Nazi stuff and the callous disregard for the "parasites" whose jobs and livelihoods he destroyed. Nobody is going to forgive him for that shit.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | June 5, 2025 6:22 PM |
OP, you sound like an idiot.
Are you also the same poster who runs around accusing everyone of being a Teacake sock puppet?
You act like you think your "brilliance" is doing everyone a favor. In reality, you're just a simp and an idiot.
This is clearly a real rift. And it's doing real damage to Trump's legislation. And I hope it continues.
Grow up.

It’s not going to work. NOBODY wants to be seen in one of those Nazi sleds.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | June 5, 2025 6:29 PM |
It's real. He's an emotionally immature and unstable addict who flipped parties when Biden complimented an American EV competitor. All bets are off as these two continue to tweet rage in the middle of the night. There will be blood.

Donald Trump ATTACKS... Then Elon EXPOSES 2024 Election
by Anonymous | reply 8 | June 5, 2025 6:34 PM |
This is definitely NOT staged, but it is entirely predictable. And delicious.

Burning Teslas will be what unites the country again!

They both gain be becoming enemies. So maybe it is stages. Musk is just saying his $ won Trump and the Republicans the elections. Maybe that's a little true.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | June 5, 2025 7:12 PM |
Nope, it’s not staged. It’s real and completely predictable. A disaster for them both. Yay!

Really, R11? Is that why Tesla stock is down 8 points today alone--because Musk has so much to gain?

by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 5, 2025 7:24 PM |
Musk gains by distancing from Trump. It makes the Tesla brand edgier and less tied to MAGA. Right now the Tesla brand is in the toilet. Forget about stock price for the moment.
It could be a real fight of course between two egomaniacs (one loon and one moron.)
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 5, 2025 7:24 PM |
Americans across the entire political spectrum are united in hating Tesla.

by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 5, 2025 7:29 PM |
Shit is getting real. Trump is publicly threatening to pull a Harvard and yank all federal support for Musk’s companies. Tesla is down 16% today as a result.
Musk may yet have more bombs to drop on Trump in retaliation.
Sending them both all the mutual damage vibes they deserve.

For epic hilarity, Trump could let in Chinese electric cars, which sell for as low as $8000. God knows what Musk has on Trump, but wouldn’t it be entertaining to find out?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | June 5, 2025 7:59 PM |
I've seen bumper stickers on a few Teslas saying 'don't blame us, we bought it before we knew'.
Not on the cybertrucks, though.

This, off Bluesky: "As a Musk biographer, my view—based on the available evidence—is that if Trump and his team get their hands on Elon Musk’s federal citizenship application and compare it to the public acknowledgment by Kimbal Musk that he and his brother knowingly violated their student visas, Musk can be deported."

by Anonymous | reply 43 | June 5, 2025 10:20 PM |
Everything is staged and has been for decades.
Including calling ex Canadian PM Justin Trudeau names and threatening to invade Canada.
All staged.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | June 5, 2025 10:24 PM |
Not after he dropped the Epstein comment. Musk is a drug addict flailing out. He just happens to have billions and an extremely large platform. This seems very real. Musk is a drug addled mentally unwell weirdo. Trump is just a garden variety narc and racist.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | June 5, 2025 10:25 PM |
Justin Trudeau is a robot, just like Donald J. Trump and the British Royal family. They are controlled by an secret Israeli team located inside Area 51.

I don't think it's staged. The Epstein, impeached, etc. stuff is not something Trump's ego would ever agree to endure. You have to realize Elon is a drug addict and thus has the crazy, unpredictable side that often comes with that.

Whoever made the decision to put the US space program in the hands of the drug addict should be held accountable. That goes back way before Trump. It was always, always a terrible idea to give this one, erratic man so much power.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | June 5, 2025 11:00 PM |
Trump knew about the drug use. That gave him leverage. And Trump used that leverage by leaking to the press about it.

I Bel eve it is staged in that Trump wants to not appear as under Musk' thumb. But he doesn't want to loose Musk support either. So they staged a fight
Plus Musk is upset about everyone turning on Tesla. Hoping to boost sales.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | June 5, 2025 11:24 PM |
I don’t think the Tesla brand is ever coming back.

by Anonymous | reply 69 | June 6, 2025 12:57 AM |
I don't believe that gutting the EV subsidy is the reason. Trump had floated this long ago. Apparently Musk was fine with it because it was going to hurt his rival EV companies more than it would Tesla
by Anonymous | reply 70 | June 6, 2025 1:19 AM |
Doesn't matter if Musk gets deported. He's the richest man in the world. He can live anywhere else.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | June 6, 2025 1:20 AM |
Tesla is not the main source of Musk's wealth. It's Starlink and Space X. That's why the threat of the loss of those contracts is frightening to Musk, and I think he will not hesitate to spill the beans on Trump's illegal shenanigans if Trump follows through. I hope they take each other both down. Then we will have to fight JD Vance. But he doesn't have the charisma for crazy and marginalized people that Trump does.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | June 6, 2025 2:30 AM |
Let’s wait to see action. So far, this may or may not be real. Just like Trump at WrestleMania.

Musk works for Putin, R78?

For R79 (I can provide more, or do your own google search).
But I have also read lots of compelling evidence on Blue Sky.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | June 6, 2025 3:28 AM |
I don't get it - so he turns on Trump and all of a sudden I'll forget what a Natzi pig he is and buy one of his swasticars? I don't think so.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | June 6, 2025 3:29 AM |
r81/r82, that WSJ article said they've been in contact a lot. But in what way and why would Musk, the richest man in the world, be working for Putin? Nowhere in the article does it allude to that.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | June 6, 2025 3:35 AM |
R84 Okay, for now I'll concede. Maybe "working for" isn't quite accurate, (It's too difficult right now for me to try and find one of the Blue Sky posts I was thinking of). But Musk's interests allay more with Putin than Dump, and getting JD in eventually was always part of their plan (and Peter Thiel's). Putin might have motioned to Musk that, perhaps, now sooner better than later.
It's all speculation but it seems very plausible to me.

They're children, r87. Got it?
by Anonymous | reply 88 | June 6, 2025 4:40 AM |
R72, Actually, Tesla (or more accurately, its overpriced stock) *is* the main source of Musk's wealth. Hence that Tesla show on the lawn of the White House. You can only get so rich off the government teat.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | June 6, 2025 5:16 AM |
I never thought it was staged but I never expected it to last long and looks like it hasn’t. Trump simply has all the power in that relationship. Musk can expose as many of Trump’s crimes he wants, but Trump will never pay for any of them. Trump can have Musk deported any time he wants. Or do anything else he wants to him.
I detest them both and wish they would annihilate each other but it ain’t gonna happen.

by Anonymous | reply 95 | June 6, 2025 9:00 AM |

Nobody.
Only way he’s outta there is via impeachment, which isn’t going to happen. And Trump’s DOJ sure isn’t going to go after Musk for election fraud.
by Anonymous | reply 96 | June 6, 2025 9:57 AM |
Trump voters don’t care if he’s a pedophile, they’d hand over their own kids to him to abuse.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | June 6, 2025 9:59 AM |
It's been a whole day - an aeon in news time. I have seen lots of shadow boxing, but no blood drawn. Until one does real harm to the other, I'll wait. It feels like reality TV now.
BTW, Stephen King weighed in --
Even if real, the King summed it up.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | June 6, 2025 10:05 AM |
Of course, most people here are smart enough to know this is very real, not at all staged, and entirely predictable. The stubborn fools here who insist it's staged provide not one credible reason for why this would be a calculated, pretend war, nor do they explain why this is not very much in keeping with the nature of these two particular sociopaths, whose alignment was mutually beneficial, but because of their natures, ended like this.
by Anonymous | reply 99 | June 6, 2025 11:59 AM |
The Tesla brand is destroyed on the left and center, it's only a brand for right wingers now, but specifically right wingers who desire electric vehicles, which is an extremely niche audience,
by Anonymous | reply 100 | June 6, 2025 12:14 PM |
Tesla is still one of the highest selling car brands in America, R100. I know plenty of people who drive them and not a single one is a rightwinger.
Elon needs to put distance between himself and the Trump administration. That’s why he exited, and this “breakup” was the next step. Now what? Talking about how the Republican Party left him behind? Writing paychecks to Democratic candidates in the upcoming primaries?
by Anonymous | reply 101 | June 6, 2025 1:03 PM |
R101 I wasn't talking about already owned Teslas. I know "liberals" loved them all through the Obama era. Their stock ans sales have been tanking for over a year now. You can't ignore that just because *you* "know people who drive them and not a single one is a rightwinger."
Elon torched the brand.
FWIW, the only time I see anyone driving a Tesla, besides the handful of deplorables in my neighborhood driving cybertrucks, they're an Uber driver, aka a gig worker contracted with a limo company (likely) owned by a wealthy deplorable. And I know far too many crypto right wingers claiming liberal bona fides over some performative and privileged bullshit like owning an overpriced electric vehicle. I don't know your friends but I'm just not buying your story, even if you believe it.
by Anonymous | reply 102 | June 6, 2025 1:23 PM |
Elon has burned his bridge. It was Magas who were protecting him when the libs said he was a psycho who re-wrote Tesla history, claiming he invented Tesla. Now he has no one. All of his lies will come home to roost. The problem for Maga is he knows all their secrets as well. Trump gave him full access to everything, and if nothing else, Musk is a collector of bones. Peoplt think it was Dems buying Teslas? Lol it is dude bros mostly. I wonder what Trump will do with that cybertruck painted with his image on it,
by Anonymous | reply 104 | June 6, 2025 1:35 PM |
Elon is worth 420 billion dollars. Money always wins over everything except deadly disease. He could promise everyone in congress 20 million dollars and still be worth over 400 Billion. Money stops investigations. He has enough to fund his own army. He has enough to start his own political party. He has plenty in spades to defeat Trump in any manner of different ways, if that was indeed his intended life's goal.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | June 6, 2025 2:14 PM |
Elon can fuck up the GOP long after Trump kicks the bucket, assuming he doesn’t overdose first. Republicans who are falling in line behind Trump over Elon are being shortsighted.
by Anonymous | reply 106 | June 6, 2025 2:29 PM |
This is not rocket science. Tesla is circling the drain and without the EV subsidies, it's burnt toast. Without government contracts, SpaceX and Starlink are done.
On the flip side, Elon manipulated the election, and the only question is whether it was from breaking the law through donations, skewing Twitter, buying votes, or outright fraud by manipulating vote counts. But this is not as powerful a weapon as Elon imagined; does anyone think that if he revealed that he outright stole the election that anything would change? Would the Republicans in Congress suddenly decide to go honest, impeach and remove Trump? Would the SCOTUS do... anything against Trump? Would MAGAts quietly accept the ultimate defeat?
It's hard to see any upside for anyone in this, but Elon stands to lose far more than Trump no matter how this plays out. And they'll realize this as soon as someone gets to either of them and points out that the winners in this whole scenario are the Democrats (which explains how we know this was not staged).
But don't worry, the Democrats will do nothing with this gift. Chuck Schumer is busy writing a strongly-worded letter, Hakeem Jeffries is MIA, and DNC chair Ken Martin is busy containing David Hogg's threat to primary do-nothing Dems in safe blue seats for doing nothing. Did I mention that the Democrats are doing nothing as the Republic crumbles?

I said it before and I hear the whispers in the air - as soon as the government finds a way to take control of Musk's SpaceX, which Steve Bannon floated out there recently, it would be a wrap for Elon in this country. Well if Elon = DOGE then he must be proud, R2, because DOGE is quietly continuing its mission like a slow acting poison in the federal government’s veins.
by Anonymous | reply 125 | June 7, 2025 1:16 PM |
DOGE is destroying the country from within, and it's 100% by design.
by Anonymous | reply 126 | June 7, 2025 3:45 PM |
And nobody will do a goddamn thing about it.
You think Jeffries will if he’s speaker in 18 months?
by Anonymous | reply 127 | June 7, 2025 3:51 PM |
What would you like Speaker Jeffries to do, R127?

[quote]You think Jeffries will if he’s speaker in 18 months?
WTF does this mean? Deflect much, TROLL?
by Anonymous | reply 129 | June 7, 2025 4:54 PM |
It means that the weak sauce Dems won’t launch immediate committee investigations into DOGE, the cunty brats scraping our data, Thiel’s data grab, the dismissal of the administrators who were in charge of keeping our data safe, or what’s happened to our personal information.
They will shrug, say it’s “ too divisive “ or “ they won’t answer our request “ and just ho on as if the biggest data breech in human history hasn’t happened under their noses.
Fucking democrats are weak, feckless and afraid to “upset” thugs and maggots. I’m sick of it. Hit them HARD with subpoenas and start tossing them in prison for ignoring them.
SCOTUS has already ruled that ignoring a congressional subpoena means you go to jail. This doesn’t need to be relitigated.
Grow some fucking ovaries and start sending these Gestapho thugs to prison when they refuse to answer questions.
Fucking prosecute them NOW. Stop making excuses and dragging shit out for years. Act like the rethugs and just round these cunts up and toss them overseas.
This is a fucking mob war and the dimwitted Dems act like it’s a kindergarten spat

[QUOTE]Dems won’t launch immediate committee investigations into DOGE,
You seem to be dead to congressional rules.
Since when can the minority party launch committee investigations? You should know your civics
Democrats are the minority on every congressional committee and the chairs are Republican. The Democrats can have shadow committee hearings, to discuss topics of contention, but they're toothless. Which Republicans or administration officials do you think will show up?
by Anonymous | reply 131 | June 7, 2025 5:43 PM |
R130, so much crap in your post I don’t know where to start. But I will say: how the fuck are you going to charge anyone w Dump as President, bending the Justice Dept and FBI to his will? How the fuck can Congress enforce subpoenas when Repukes control both the House and the Senate?
And when Jan. 6 happened, who sent a slew of the offenders to jail, and then who freed them? Just fuck off with your self-righteous anger totally directed at the wrong people.

Pish posh. You can damn well guarantee that whatever Dem takes over the gavel of the Oversight Committee will immediately launch investigations into DOGE, burying the Trump regime in subpoenas, R130. But I wouldn’t expect much more than that. If you want to stop once and for all DOGE, you have to put another Democrat in the White House in 2028.

Daddy don’t fight with him! I love him and I AM PREGNANT!
by Anonymous | reply 135 | June 7, 2025 6:04 PM |
Please. When the Dems take back the House next year, they won’t do squat and we all know it.
All they did the last time was hold hearings and did any big fish go to prison or get executed for treason? Nope.
They were free to crime and crime again. Because fucking Democrats are too goddamn weak and pathetic to go after the people in charge.
I don’t really give a shit what the logic is for their political theater. Stop acting afraid to upset the thugs and the maggots. Prosecute the fat cunt Ginni Thomas for financing the terror attack on J6. Her group paid for those buses and coordinated them. Prosecute that goddamn cunt and strip her of everything they own.
What about the congresspeople who led the tours pointing out the tunnels like Loudermilk? Why wasn’t that prick or CroMagnon Marge prosecuted for that?
Nope. Just sit back, fuck around and make excuses about “that’s not the way it’s done” hoping the thugs will “play fair”. Fuck that.
Round them up, send them to the gulag and pretend you can’t get them back until it’s time to execute them for treason.
I’m sick of goddamn Democrats being afraid of their own shadows. They either need to grow a spine, or GTFO and let someone who WILL go after these traitors step up.
When does the fucking law matter? It’s already broken. Stop pretending that if you play fair the thugs will, too. They broke it, so the Dems should do the same - lock them up without trial because WE ALL KNOW THEY’RE GUILTY.

You sound just as emotional as Trump and Musk, r136, and it's getting in the way of your ability to think critically just like your nemeses.

Trump says Elon Musk will face 'very serious consequences' if he funds Democratic candidates:
[quote]The president also said he has no desire to repair his relationship with Musk after a feud between the two men erupted into public view earlier this week.
[quote]“No,” Trump said when asked if he had any wish to do so.
[quote]Asked if he thought his relationship with the Tesla and SpaceX CEO was over, Trump said, “I would assume so, yeah.”

Actually R136 makes a lot of goddamn sense.

This article sorta sums up the past week. Elon better go into hiding.

Is Trump threatening to have him killed?
by Anonymous | reply 141 | June 7, 2025 11:33 PM |
R141 Trump doesn’t or can't control what he says or sends out on social media, so I think he is unlikely to be able to get a hitman because the first rule of working with hitmen and organized crime is keeping your mouth shut. I believe that's why we haven't experienced a lot of unexplained “accidental” deaths of the many people formerly in Trump’s orbit who have turned against him since 2017.

There is still zero action other than word exchanges and barbs. Until someone does something, this is just palace intrigue.
