[italic]Gold Diggers of 1933[/italic]. Originally it was to end with a full production of the "We're in the Money" number (like because they're totally gold dIggers, y'know?), which as you'll recall was interrupted in the beginning of the film; but that seemed just so wrong after the very strong and moving "Forgotten Man" number.

The Golden Compass (2007)
A lot of Harry Potter deleted scenes have never been released either. I think “Order of the Phoenix” could benefit from an extended cut.

Fame (the gritty original, not that abominable remake from 2009). A great ensemble of interesting characters, but too many stories weren’t fully addressed or resolved in the existing cut.

So many scenes in "Titanic" were cut because they might be too traumatic for viewers.
The Titanic sank in 30 degree water and 1,500 people froze to death or were trapped in the ship.
Isn't that traumatic?

R20 - there's a completely different edit of Caligula, running 3 hours, that came out a little over a year ago.
