Ho-tistic, maybe.
Speaking from experience.

Not sure what the point of that article was all about - homophobia and not knowing you're autistic? How could he have avoided the autism thing the past 10 years? It's been everywhere.
And he really is nelly - here's the video. A lot of people have to become a different person on camera.

I also only realised I was an aspie in the last couple of years or so. I think, just like with any other cognitive condition, you tell yourself that that's something which happens to other people, not you. Also, objective self-assessment is kinda impaired when you're an aspie. So unless you have a professional say it to your face, it takes some time to figure it out yourself.

Mullet&Moobs - he didn’t know?
Granted, most people won’t walk up and say, “You’re autistic”.
No, they’d say, “Ye’r retahded!” which would confuse a high-functioning autistic person.

Wow another self-parodying article from the Guardian. Yawn.

Is that AYB?

I feared he would list qualities and behaviors I myself exhibit.
He did.
I am so sound and noise sensitive I use ear plugs throughout my week, not just in bed. The qualities of most people's speaking and vocal habits prevent me from being where I can hear them, among many other similarities, mainly the constant anxiety which I don't mask as well as I thought I did. Oh, well.

He's sweet and rather cute actually. And I love his voice in R2's video, its sexy as fuck if you ask me
His life has clearly not been easy, which I reckon will have made him a more empathetic person, he actually mentions struggling to control his in the article. Glad he's in what sound like a good situation now with a loving husband who understands and cares for him

He bears a striking resemblance to Sir Christopher Nolan who of course is Aspie Jesus

I just don't understand how he has evaded knowledge of his own autism the past 15 years - particularly working in the media.
I can't escape it - there's constant articles and press about it.

[quote] I’d collect facts and statistics about Madonna, memorise the chart positions of her singles, then reel them off to anyone who would listen. If anyone criticised her, I took it as a personal attack and would be distraught.
What a fucking loser.

How insufferable he must be to put up with.

R12 I would have done it for Janet.

Whew, I’m good. A trove of useless data in my brain when it comes to 80s singers and pop artists, but I’m keenly aware of social graces and would never just start burbling it to somebody, or even have an urge to.

I'd love to write a long response but I have to keep counting my buttons, avoiding eye contact with others, and rocking back and forth. You KNOW how hard it is to be gay.
