The era of Pride Month is over. The gays have exited and no one likes what remains.
I’ll probably get another 48 hour ban for this post. So be it.
The first phase of the shift was to rename “Gay Pride” to “Pride” to be more inclusive of transgender and nonbinary people. The second phase, completed within the last couple of years, was to push gays out completely, particularly gay men. The Board of HRC as well as the Boards of many Pride events have completely excluded gay men in favor of trans people and “queer” people.
As it turns out, apparently, the general public doesn’t much care for all this. As we have now learned, it was the “regular guy” gays that garnered the support from the mainstream (Billy is a regular guy who happens to like men) and the TQ+ with their excessive extreme far left agenda just can’t garner that same support.
I mean, who could have ever predicted that nonbinary children would cause a backlash?

My coworker who organizes the Pride month events for our company can’t even get the gay employees to volunteer for Pride this year. It’s a hard no from everyone.

I have noticed that with younger gay men, a lot of them have adopted the mlm (gay male) flag. I think maybe the rainbow flag has become too crowded and vague and that's a way of differentiating from all the noise.

Problem is - these gay and lesbian organizations are filled with people with big hearts who don't want to discriminate and they PERSONALLY know what it feels like.
But you have to have limits. And it's gone awry - horse is out of the stable and won't be put back in unless we start to break off.

The anti-Pride sentiment I have seen is all about minimizing the gays, especially by suggesting we are doing Pride rather than honoring the military. Removing Harvey Milk’s name from the Navy ship had nothing to do with trans.
Their hatred of us was always there. They just feel emboldened. They are doing the same thing to blacks, and would have done it even if Black Lives Matter hadn’t happened.

Gay men were targeted within the community. They villainized gay men with sexism and phobia tactics to take everything over and that’s the truth. Now it’s collapsed.

I didn't know gay men had our own flag. I like the colors. But I doubt I would fly a flag that celebrates my sexuality. I've never flown any flags so probably I'm just not a flag guy. But I really do like the colors. Maybe as a profile pic on FB. Do people still do that?
