Cubans have never understood the damage they caused by voting for Trump. I hope they learn, but fear they won't. The Republicans offer too much money and too many opportunities to "white Hispanics," and pretend to treat them as special. At one point, there were THREE Cuban-Americans in the US Senate: Cruz, Rubio, and Menendez (D). Talk about overrepresentation.

Although their loyalty to the Republicans is supposedly due to the Bay of Pigs. This is not true. It is a lie perpetuated by Cuban radio stations, like the incendiary Radio Mambi. Like many things, it is racism. The Republican Party rewards Cuban "whiteness" and, until now, has made a distinction for Cubans. A distinction backed by tangible financial benefits--who supports Radio Mambi?

My friend is waiting to them to start being rounded up and deported.

What makes me truly angry is these conservative groups come here to build a better life or because of pursecution/seeking asylum, and then they hate the liberal laws we have established in this country. Why come here if you hate who we are? If you hate that everyone has rights and freedoms? Go somewhere else where you can live in fear and hatred.

I have come to realize they need to be screened for political views before they are let in. Or just don't allow them to vote or run for office. Keep them restricted for a generation or two.
