Musk blasts Trump’s agenda bill as a ‘disgusting abomination,’ catching White House officials off guard
Elon Musk on Tuesday lashed out at President Donald Trump’s agenda bill — which the president is pressuring GOP senators to support — calling it a “disgusting abomination.”
“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination,” the tech billionaire posted on X. “Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
He added in a subsequent post: “Congress is making America bankrupt.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson on Tuesday forcibly pushed back against Musk, arguing he is “terribly wrong” about the legislation. The GOP leader added to reporters that he and Musk had a “very friendly conversation” over the phone Monday, where Johnson “extolled all the virtues of the bill.”
“Elon is missing it, OK? And it’s not personal. I know that the [electric vehicle] mandate’s very important to him,” Johnson said. He added: “But for him to come out and pan the whole bill is to me, just very disappointing, very surprising in light of the conversation I had with him yesterday.”

Great so now we have a hollowed-out government and a bigger deficit than when it started.

R5. No, we don't deserve it. Half the country did not vote for Trump.

From Sieg Heil on Inauguration Day to flipping the bird a few months later. Signs of our times.

That’s not how we elect presidents, R6. Although not the landslide Trump & his “poorly educated” acolytes believed it to be, Trump, a convicted felon & would-be insurrectionist, comfortably won the Electoral College. So yes, we richly do deserve this.

[quote]Musk wants even more cuts.
Because he didn't get enough of the pie. For a Trump campaign donation of $275 million, Musk wants more money for himself and his companies--and that's why he's bitching.
Every Repig needs to hog tied and pistol whipped.

Norma June Moron doesn't pay much attention to politics.
But in this Ohio diner, Moron, 63, is fully engaged with the Times' story on Tesla CEO and former DOGE chief Elon Musk's criticism of Trump's "big beautiful bill."
"Why are they fighting? I thought they were friends," the professional basket weaver said between sips from her steaming cup of coffee.

...and more than a third of the country weren't arsed to vote at all because "both sides", "TRANS!" and "GAZA!"

Did he hack the voting machines? At minimum, he bought the election for him.

There’s a big difference between buying an election & hacking voting machines.
