Pop Muzik (Nik Launay ‘79 12”) by M & Robin Scott
How could I like it, if I hadn't heard it?

Pop Muzik is a pretty well-known song.

Have you heard of the concept of just discovered? R1

I've heard of Pop Muzik, dating back to the time when it was a fresh song. I liked it then and I like it now.
FYI: NBC used Pop Musik in its advertising for its Must-See-TV Thursday night line up in the mid 1990s.

Thank you, R4. I always loved those little jingles.

I haven’t heard it before but I like it? Isn’t that a senior moment.

I think I get what the OP is saying. I was very intrigued by Goldfrapp and Mylène Farmer before I ever sat down and listened to their music and watched their videos. I just picked up on them in idle chatter with European members over on Makeupalley.com

R8 We're supposed to intuit the meaning to be "Old Music That's New To You, that you (surprisingly?) Love".
These were songs I'd heard before, but LOVE the way its done by newer artists:
About Her- Malcolm McLaren The Slits: Grapevine
New To Me artist and song: Shivaree: Goodnight Moon

I love some of the songs from the Dahmer soundtrack, even though I didn't hear them for the first time.

This is a great song I assume few people here would be familiar with
