There is nothing wrong with Grindr. If you understand what it’s for, you’ll have a good time if you accept your own limitations.

It’s not for people of color who want to fuck racists, ugly people who want to fuck sexy men, fat people who can’t accept they’re a kink, old people who can’t accept their age, etc.

If you’re a 5, you’ll find a 5 who will fuck in a 5 mile radius.

And thats sounds easier than hanging out at the YMCA or socializing in a bar.

R1- I have a problem with that term- People Of Color. I don't think you can lump ALL non white people together n in one group as People Of Color . If you are referring to Black people of African descent I understand that.

r8 here again. I'm in my forties and I guess I'm just an old soul because I find hooking up on a site like Grindr to just be cold and emotionless. Scrolling through profiles, then just showing up at a guy's door and fucking then leaving doesn't appeal to me. I like having a conversation and flirting before I hop into bed with a guy. Bars, parties and other social events, parks and other places are where I've met guys. It's still pretty easy to do that in NY.

I guess I didn't put it on my "list" because even back in the day, they weren't that common, and now they are fairly rare and even large cities may not have them anymore. When I lived in Phoenix, I went to Flex a few times, but it was a trek for me to get to that side of town, so I didn't go that often.

Plus there are bars like the Eagle, that depending on the night, might as well be a bathhouse.
