I got sick with the flu last week - sore throat, cough, nasal congestion, 102-degree fever. I tested negative for COVID, so called the advice nurse and requested a Tamiflu prescription, since it's supposed to work best if you start it within 48 hours of getting sick. I got the prescription and took it right away, but despite lowering my fever, it didn't seem very effective. A week later, I'm feeling better, but I still have the cough and nasal issues and wouldn't say I'm back to normal yet.
I was hoping it would work better, like Paxlovid does for COVID. 24 hours after starting Paxlovid, I felt 100% better.
Anyone else try Tamiflu? Any success?
