Well if he isn't "pro-EU" that means he is Pro Russian Invasion and Annexation?

From the BBC
Nawrocki supports traditional Catholic and family values and is a strong supporter of Polish sovereignty within the EU.
He backs continued support for Ukraine, but has said he does not want to see the country joining NATO and the EU during Russia's ongoing aggression.
Poland's president is a largely ceremonial role with limited influence on foreign policy and defence, but the president can veto legislation. Tusk's pro-EU coalition government lacks a large enough parliamentary majority to overturn it.
The current conservative incumbent president, Andrzej Duda, has used his powers to prevent Prime Minister Tusk delivering key campaign promises, including removing political influence from the judiciary and liberalising the country's strict abortion law.

The way some Europeans treat Poland is incredibly patronising so I can understand why Poles don't feel a huge amount of love for the EU.
There was one interview with Duda where he was asked why Poland doesn't take refugees from the Middle East and Africa, trying to suggest racism and anti Muslim sentiment, despite Poland taking in over a million refugees from Ukraine.
And for all the criticism Poland gets for its strict abortion laws, it's worth pointing out Malta is worse, despite being ranked the #1 country for LGBT people in the EU. Ireland's laws are still very strict with large numbers of women still having to travel to Britain for abortions.

When was the last time you heard of Ukrainian refugees murdering, raping, harassing or robbing Europeans or rioting in Western European cities? There are valid, good reasons why Africans and muslims are not wanted in Eastern Europe. European elected officials over the past 20 - 30 years have basically ensured its destruction, willingly and happily.

I strongly support the nation-state. Why shouldn’t there be a country of Poles for Poles?

Anti-gay. 'nuff said.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | June 2, 2025 1:23 PM |
This isn't about gays.
People are sick and tired of the barbarian hoardes invading Europe. Kudos to Poland and I hope all of Europe goes this way. Mind you it's probably too late for places like France.
Leftist govts have proven time and time again they don't work. At least make it hard to get in. Any good place SHOULD BE HARD to get into.

Are you suggesting there is no anti-gay sentiment included?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | June 2, 2025 1:40 PM |
Nawrocki's a disaster. And you're not going to get a sympathetic hearing from Americans, since our country was built on those "barbarian hordes," otherwise known as immigrants looking to make a better life for themselves.

The islamization of Europe hasn't turned out so great for the gays, dykes, or queers.
