Wasn’t there a daughter who was “disappeared” from the cast of Family Matters? Also, Rose’s daughter, Tiffany, was similarly removed from 227.

They could’ve brought Chuck back instead of adding Heather O’Rourke.

Cousin Oliver didn’t disappear.

Mike Douglas from "My Three Sons." Got married and was never heard from or even mentioned again.

Irene and Frank Lorenzo on ALL IN THE FAMILY

Irene remarried and moved to Florida. When she found out she was dying she put an ad in the personals and invited Sophia Petrillo to be part of a throuple and then replace her when she died.

R10, Judy Winslow was written out of the show as the writers had nowhere to go with that character and needed to make room for Steve Urkel.

One of the kids on Step by Step disappeared as well.

Grace Lee Whitney- Janice Rand Original Star Trek

Set up as Kirk’s love interest the character disappeared without explanation before the end of season 1.

She reappeared 13 years later for a brief cameo in Star Trek the Motion Picture.

Meghan Markle on Fringe, being set up as an ongoing or recurring character then, whosh, gone

Taxi- John Burns as Randall Carver. The pilot made it seem that this character would be second only to Judd Hirsch. Gone by the end of the first season. Never mentioned again.

Wings- Brian Haley as Budd Bronski. Brought on in season 7 to replace Lowell. Disappeared without explanation after only a few episodes.

The kids from The Lucy Show evaporated in the fourth season.

David Birney, GW Bailey, Paul Sand- St Elsewhere. All 3 played great characters then poof, vanished never to be spoken of again.

Gunsmoke-

Dennis Weaver left after 9 seasons. Not one of Chester’s good friends bothered to ask where he went.

Burt Reynolds. Quint came, he went, he was quickly forgotten.

Roger Ewing- Thad disappeared and no one noticed.

Dr. Morgan Winthrop on Another World. Where did he go? ORD? BNSD? Aunt Liz? SDFT?

'Mandy Hampton' on West Wing vanished after the first season. I knew someone with the same name who looked like that character, so it made me wonder if the character was based on her. The girl slept with every guy in the business.

R40, there's an episode S2 that was only shown once. Chuck comes out as gay. Has a huge argument with Mr. & Mrs. C. Gives Potsie a passionate kiss, asks him to sit on it. Potsie says no. He settles for Ralph's Malph. Chuck moves to San Francisco. Has a cameo in Milk.

r35 Aunt Liz, that's what I heard, that he went up to the roof to have a smoke and never came back. He was so hot. As with Danny Markel, I never got into Grayson's character on ATWT the way I did with his Bay City persona.
