Well of course Jane Elliot outlived those other people-- she is the youngest out of all of them. Two years younger than Leslie Charleson even.

I remembered she was on AMC& was married to Palmer, but she was a Chandler??

I remember her hot son who killed Sybil comes back to help destroy Adam Chandler with Palmer's help.

Jane's best scene was watching Edward Quartermaine having his heart attack& doing nothing to help him7 watched him DIE

Of course, Edward was faking because he was "More Evil& rotten" than Tracy. Great scene.

OP - I disagree with your assessment "acting up a storm". IMHO, what makes Elliot so special is her tendency to not overact when so many others would. I wouldn't say she's subtle, she's just the right amount.

Definitely subtle at times. God, I loved it when she would talk to brain dead Jason like he was deaf or special .

Didn’t Doug Marland supposedly want Jane and Jeanne Cooper to play members of a new core family on As The World Turns before he died?

R6, I'd read that.

Cooper had made a big boo boo by talking on TV about the Peter Eric fight in 1992, I think, when all the actors went to NY for the Daytime Emmys.

Publicity should have turned down the interview if that wasn't taken off the table. Or Cooper could have said something more diplomatic. I can't recall what it was but it got her shuffled off to the backburner for a while, I recall.

So I'm sure she contemplated going to ATWT. Doug is regarded by many as the best in the business.

But could a show that had Hubbard, Hays, Fulton, Widdoes, and Zenk also have room for Cooper AND Elliot?
