Gay Trump supporters should be publicly vilified at every turn.

They shouldn't just be vilified, they should be excised from the community and everyone should refuse to engage with them on everything from mere discussion through sexual contact, They deserve to be alone.

Gays, and gay white men in particular, have always had a tendency for fascism. Fascism, for example, has an aesthetic that appeals to us, but it's much deeper than undercuts or uniform fetishes.

I always used to say "gay body fascism" was redundant. It's just fascism, rewarding and celebrating the "superior" while mocking and bullying the supposed lessers. And the Nazis did the same with their cult of physique and sport and hatred of the disabled and anyone seen as weak. It's just one facet but you see it ina lot of the community if you look for it. Of course racism and misogyny are rampant in gay male circles, and any visibly disabled gay person can share some hair raising stories about encounters with other, abled-bodied gay men.

The exit polls showed that LGBT voters are second only to Black women when it comes to having gone for the Dems and were one of the demographics where they actually grew support (86% of us voted for Kamala up from 81% for Biden in 2020).

Whatever beef people have with “body-shaming white gays who were mean to me at a bar” they are far less responsible, in the aggregate, for our current political situation than virtually every other demographic group out there.
