No Doubt were the talent in their equation, Gwen was just a cute front lady with an ok voice. On her own she is cultural sponge and really hasn't had much to say since Harajuku girls which backfired on her.

She's a friend of the actor and also Catholic so I guess that makes sense. Doesn't necessarily mean she's a fan of Carlson.
