I was surprised to see him in that Netflix series The Residence. I hadn't seen him in anything since Perfect Strangers went off the air. Now if only Mark Linn Baker could get some work...

Bronson was interviewed by Harvey Brownstone recently and judging by his YT comment, quoted below, and replies to other viewer comments, Bronson was a difficult subject.

At the height of his fame, DL considered him the gay Edgar R. Murrow, despite being just an "entertainment" reporter.

He used to be balding and obese. The balding pictures are harder to find online, but there are many of him very overweight. He’s put a lot of effort into self-improvement. This picture is from 1995’s The Langoliers.

Kmetko still has a great voice.

I loved Steve Kmetko. I understand that everyone ages. However, stop wearing the bulking sweaters to hide your fat. It's not working.

While Pinchot is sitting there wearing shorts, Kmetko looks like he's dressed for winter.

Mark Linn Baker does a lot of work on Broadway. He was in the Whoopi version of A Funny thing happened on the way to the Forum.

That was like, what, 20 years ago, r42.? Mark does work fairly often off-Broadway.

I went to Yale with Mark and he was THE huge star of the Drama School, esp. in comedic roles. In spite of his "quirky" looks, the girls were wild for him (and he for them). I wonder if he regrets Perfect Strangers derailing what might have been a bigger career in theatre or in film. But it made him a millionaire, so there's that...

Mark Linn-Baker still works ON Broadway -- most recently as Mayor Shinn in the Jackman/Foster MUSIC MAN, plus memorable turns in ON THE 20TH CENTURY and YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU. He seems to have a number of production credits too, including HADESTOWN.

Several of those credits were as a developmental producer on those shows pre-Broadway, not as an actor, r44, including The Notebook, Hadestown and Bright Star.

Nothing against Mark, he's a great guy and super talented. Just knowing him way back then, I'd hoped for more for him.
