And so it begins...

Robert Kennedy, er...the CDC, no longer recommends covid vaccines for children and pregnant women.

Gotta kill everyone off as fast as they fucking can.

by Anonymousreply 1May 27, 2025 5:27 PM

When they gon execute Fauci fer makin us get the jab?

by Anonymousreply 2May 27, 2025 5:35 PM

I can hardly wait for the pregnant MAGAt who gets Covid in her 6th or 7th month., it kills the baby and imperils her life to the point at which they'll finally perform an abortion, but she dies. Husband will, of course, post a GoFundMe to help pay for the funerals. Best if it's their first child so we get the sob stories of how excited they were to be parents, how all she'd ever wanted to be was a mother... "if only she'd been vaccinated, they both would have lived!" he laments, apologizing (like the thousands who gasped their regret in the overcrowded ICUs) for their mistaken faith in Trump.

And MAGA will call them cucks or some other insult.

by Anonymousreply 3May 27, 2025 5:50 PM

Die, die, my darlings!

by Anonymousreply 4May 27, 2025 5:58 PM

Kids were recommended to get Covid vaccines anyway. They stopped that years ago. The elderly and those with preexisting conditions were recommended to get them.

by Anonymousreply 5May 27, 2025 5:59 PM

Kids weren’t recommended to get Covid vaccines anyway. They stopped that years ago. The elderly and those with preexisting conditions were recommended to get them.

by Anonymousreply 6May 27, 2025 5:59 PM

I know a lot of you salivate at the thought of leopards eating people's faces, but this is going to affect all of us, especially as we get older. Loss of herd immunity means all of us are at risk and the most at risk (the elderly and immune compromised among them) will be hit hard. I can't get off on fantasy scenarios like R3's when I know this will kill a lot of people across all age groups and the full political spectrum.

by Anonymousreply 7May 27, 2025 6:02 PM

any chatter about RFK or any of the maga crowd removing Antiretrovirals ( HIV) from their currently protected class? I'm still scarred from attacks by douchebag Sen Jesse Helms, working overtime to find ways to 'punish' gay people thru any means possible. These meds are not vaccines, so may not be on RFK radar?

by Anonymousreply 8May 27, 2025 6:14 PM

R8, he’s long dead.

Croakie Roberts can get back to us after he cures his vocal affliction with diet and exercise

by Anonymousreply 10May 27, 2025 6:28 PM

Anyone who gets a covid vaccine at this point is an idiot.

by Anonymousreply 11May 27, 2025 6:31 PM

Has Croaky McShakes gotten flesh eating bacteria yet from swimming in the sewage of Rock Creek?

by Anonymousreply 12May 27, 2025 6:36 PM

Covid is over.

by Anonymousreply 13May 27, 2025 10:14 PM

R3: there were way too many stories over the past five years of families who responded to COVID deaths of loved ones by assaulting the medical staff for not "following the protocol": horse dewormer, vitamin C and good vibes.

You're assuming trumpistas are capable of reflection and/or shame. I don't buy that for a second.

Wear a mask in tight crowded spaces these days. Lack of qualification is the qualification for the idiots appointees.

by Anonymousreply 16May 28, 2025 12:31 AM

Local store owner's school-age children are recovering from Covid. Domestic tourism is in full bloom in NYC ... and then they return home with souvenir Covid.

Mask up and get the booster while you can.

by Anonymousreply 17May 28, 2025 12:47 AM

[quote]Anyone who gets a covid vaccine at this point is an idiot.

Did you arrive at that conclusion by listening to the insight of the guy who swims in literal sewage, dear?

by Anonymousreply 18May 28, 2025 1:19 AM

I still wear my KN95 mask on subways or buses. I always keep it with me in case I 'll be in a enclosed crowded space for a period of time. I believe both times I caught COVID was on the subway.

I was recently at a small crowded music venue and I opted to wear the mask. It's a judgement call for me. If I'm in a theater with seats and high ceiling I feel it's less of a risk.

by Anonymousreply 19May 28, 2025 1:23 AM

R19, how old are you? Do you have health issues?

I work with people who still mask on the job. I can’t really understand them.

by Anonymousreply 20May 28, 2025 1:33 AM

R19 I'm 65 and in excellent shape considering I had triple bypass 5 years ago. I never wear mask in the office or in regular settings, just in confined crowded spaces.

by Anonymousreply 21May 28, 2025 1:48 AM

You can trace the obsessions of the Angry Old White Men by noting what wishes Trump is preoccupied with fulfilling in his first few months. They were apparently deeply scarred by the COVID shutdowns (probably because it interfered with their marital cheating).

by Anonymousreply 25May 28, 2025 2:52 AM

I’m surprised over 65 recommended for covid vaccines by Kriminal Kennedy. I expected him and Trump admin to deny vaccine hoping to kill off aging dependent population?

by Anonymousreply 26May 28, 2025 3:19 AM

But I still hate that sack of shit.

by Anonymousreply 27May 28, 2025 3:19 AM

Unless you're an anti-vax nutbag, there is literally NO downside to getting boosters for covid.

It's like getting an annual flu shot. It takes 10 minutes at any CVS which are literally everywhere.

Until there is some evidence that getting additional covid shots cause medical problems, why are people so adamant about not getting them. They're FREE even with crappy insurance.

by Anonymousreply 28May 28, 2025 3:35 AM

[quote] there were way too many stories over the past five years of families who responded to COVID deaths of loved ones by assaulting the medical staff for not "following the protocol": horse dewormer, vitamin C and good vibes.

I worked in public health from 2018-2022 and I knew a few RNs who left hospital nursing jobs to work in public health because the abuse they took during covid caused PTSD and other health issues.

My ex-girlfriend is a nurse. She left bedside nursing in 2018 to work at an oncology center. One of her older brothers was also a nurse. He worked in hospitals during covid and committed suicide in early 2022. My ex's father is Canadian and she and her siblings have dual citizenship. Her father and two of her siblings have moved to Canada because they got fed up with the US and the healthcare system. I talked with my ex a few months ago and she says goes back and forth between wanting to leave the US and go to Canada.

I am praying that RFK Jr. gets measles and croaks.

by Anonymousreply 30May 28, 2025 5:05 AM

R29: the stress and abuse that medical personnel went through in that period never really got the attention it deserved imho.

The documentary "The First Wave" provides a short glimpse of what NYC hospitals went through during March 2020, and it was absolutely horrifying.

by Anonymousreply 31May 28, 2025 11:04 PM

[quote]the stress and abuse that medical personnel went through in that period never really got the attention it deserved imho.

A lot of things that happened during that time never really got the attention it should have. Americans don't want to think about it.

by Anonymousreply 32May 28, 2025 11:22 PM

R31 I have two relatives who are doctors in NYC hospitals. The stories they told me about what the hospitals went through during that year were basically like war scenario. Many of the doctors and nurses and staff were basically dealing with PTSD, even after the three initial COVID strains where over. The vaccines were what allowed the country to get out of the pandemic lock-down stage and begin to return to normal. Some of the pundits were crying later that the lock-downs was tyrannical and wrong. They serviced a life saving purpose. Without the measures taken the deaths in the US would have been about 3 times more.

by Anonymousreply 33May 28, 2025 11:25 PM

It's amazing to me that 1.1 million US citizens died of COVID - with all of these people knowing someone who died - and yet here we are.

A few hundred people still die of it each week in Americas.

by Anonymousreply 34May 28, 2025 11:51 PM

Fuck them

by Anonymousreply 35May 29, 2025 3:26 AM

I guess this means it’s wise to still get the annual Covid booster. Until this deranged asshole is out, I’m doing the opposite of what he recommends.

by Anonymousreply 36May 29, 2025 3:32 AM

Let’s all prepare to die.

by Anonymousreply 37May 29, 2025 3:33 AM

Is it bad that I hope those still dying of Covid are all unvaccinated Trump voters?

by Anonymousreply 38May 29, 2025 4:10 AM

I work full-time with at risk patients. When I went for a visit to my primary dr last week, I asked the PA who saw me if I could still get a COVID booster and she told me it wasn't recommended so I would pay for it OOP. She kept trying to disway me from getting one. Also when I asked for a blood test to see if I needed the Shingles vaccine, she said it was not something they did without reason which she did not feel I had. Anti-vaxxers are in every branch of the healthcare industry. Not sure what I can do as I cannot afford the vaccine on my own nor the testing needed to see if I need a shingles vax.

Wish I could find a better local PCP.

by Anonymousreply 39May 29, 2025 4:28 AM

R39, how old are you? You should try one of the online drs and see if they will write an order for you to get the blood test. Tell them you work w high risk patients & that your parents & grandparents had all had severe cases of shingles

by Anonymousreply 40May 29, 2025 4:43 AM

R40 I'm 43. Is it difficult to get appointments with online drs? I wonder if they will take my insurance.

Thanks for the advice.

by Anonymousreply 41May 29, 2025 4:56 AM

I hadn't had any vaccines since around the time I was in middle school. And I never get the flu vaccine because I very rarely get the flu. But COVID can be life threatening, even if you're healthy and with no preexisting health issues., so got the the initial two shots in 2021 and have gotten my annual boosters since then, usually in December so I can get through the winter with less concern.

by Anonymousreply 42May 29, 2025 11:51 AM

WaPo: HHS cancels funding for Moderna to develop vaccines to combat bird flu.

The dept. cited Moderna's use of messenger RNA technology, which it said "remains under-tested," for the cancellation of the funding.

This is the same technology that Trump hailed for saving lives during pandemic with Operation Warp Speed.

by Anonymousreply 43May 29, 2025 12:06 PM

I hope drug companies and scientists are packing up and heading outside the US over the lunacy. Doctors too. As a Canadian, I feel like it’s such an opportunity for our government to funnel some brains into our country.

by Anonymousreply 44May 29, 2025 12:18 PM

There's a new Covid strain about to sweep the U.S., but Trump's HHS is silent about it. His FBI is on the case, though. FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino:

"As we read and process reports of a new COVID strain emerging, I want you to know that we are actively investigating, in multiple field offices, the cover-up of the origin of the COVID virus, along with associated matters requiring our attention."

by Anonymousreply 45May 29, 2025 12:28 PM

The exact quote was "garble grrrr ahhhh growl".

by Anonymousreply 46May 29, 2025 12:36 PM

R39, seriously, find another healthcare provider, STAT. Report the conversation you had with your current provider to whoever makes sense; a supervisor at that facility, or the medical board. Do not be passive about your health.

by Anonymousreply 47May 29, 2025 12:40 PM

Covid is certainly not "over" for the elderly, the immunocompromised or those with moderate to serious medical conditions. It can still hit these groups very hard, and still kills many of them per week in the US.

by Anonymousreply 48May 29, 2025 2:06 PM

I know-I went out shopping today and forgot my mask.

by Anonymousreply 49May 29, 2025 10:16 PM

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino: We're ALL GOING TO DIE.

by Anonymousreply 50May 29, 2025 10:59 PM

I get every fucking vaccine I can because I know they work.

It’s ridiculous to block some people from getting the Covid shot. The whole point is to give vaccines to health people so they don’t get sick

by Anonymousreply 51May 30, 2025 1:46 AM

WaPo: Kennedy’s “MAHA Report” is a garbled mess.

Of the 522 footnotes to scientific research in an initial version of the report sent to The Washington Post, at least 37 appear multiple times,. Other citations include the wrong author, and several studies cited by the extensive health report do not exist at all.

Some references include “oaicite” attached to URLs — a definitive sign that the research was collected using artificial intelligence. The presence of “oaicite” is a marker indicating use of OpenAI, a U.S. artificial intelligence company.

And the kiddies will be the main spreaders- same as last time.

Daily Beast:

HHS secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. celebrated the release of his error-ridden "Make America Healthy Again" report not with a glass of champagne, but a shot of raw milk alongside notorious quack, er, controversial health influencer Dr. Paul Saladino.

Is it too much to ask that they both wind up in the hospital with a bacterial illness?
