WHY would you waste time listening to a cover when you can listen to the original. No one does the Beatles like the Beatles.

Because we get to see awesome artist worship better creators. My baby is Annie - voice that sends me with second-hand lyrics. It’s the voice imprinted upon an old song. She rocks. Others do as well, but that is my baby since 1982. First and last album I purchased was Touch.

I came here to post about two songs, R1 Nina Simone and R31 Earth Wind & Fire. It's hard to pick between the two.

Sometimes a cover can reinvent a song. I love Eleanor Rigby with the original string arrangement but I also like this rock version by Australian band Zoot.
That's Rick Springfield at 2:05.

I never paid much attention to covers of them. In the 60s we listened to The Brothers Four Sing The Beatles and Chet Atkins guitar album. They were both good. I think the Carpenters Ticket To Ride is awful.
