I can't find the whole scene anywhere online. But it was funny - especially the part where Willona Woods left the table and wished the Evans family "bone appetit".
Remember the GOOD TIMES episode about the woman who ate dog food and made a meat loaf for the Evans family?

This episode haunted me. Watching Good Times as a kid was often an intense experience.

I remember that episode well. It was during the stagflation years. There were reports in the mid-70s that some seniors on limited incomes were buying pet food instead of meat.

Tell me about it. No joke--every time I use my iron. . .I think of Penny. Thus was fucked-up TV for little kids to watch.

It really was, r3. I was 10/11 when GT began and even at that age I got it.

That episode in which JJ's fiancee - played by DL fave Debbie Allen - turns out to be a heroin addict was also shocking and unsettling. I was like "you don't see this on The Jeffersons!"
