R1 I’ve followed her for years and she’s very knowledgeable and talented with design. She’s probably just trying to come across as calm and soothing.

She did make the mistake of stating Sophia never had a bathroom in her room. The bathroom was shown when she married Max.

Why would Blanche rent out the biggest and best bedroom with an enormous bathroom to Rose, and give herself the worst bedroom? And if Sofia had a private bathroom why did she need to use toilet in Rose’s bathroom?

That doesn't mean it was there the whole time though r3. We know that rooms and set pieces were modified for certain episodes. We know the front door had a peephole once or twice.
